Here at Dove Nest, our Corporate Social Responsibility is simple but effective. Yes, it helps others in far flung communities, yes, it helps motivate our staff, and yes, it creates sustainable development. But it also knits together our clients, our stakeholders, our suppliers and our shareholders, all of whom contributed to our latest event, Challenge Gambia 2, where we support a clinic and hospital in rural villages in Gambia.

Our CSR has grown organically rather than been strategically planned in the boardroom, and now we have started down this route there’s no going back! Having already seen the huge difference that our support is making to the patients and staff in the Gambia, we have decided to carry on supporting this project.

4 Aid 2 Wheels Dove Nest Group are sponsoring the 4 Aid 2 Wheels round the world trip in aid of Action Aid and Action Against Hunger. The trip departs the Lake District on 6th June 2010 and progress can be followed on the 4 Aid 2 Wheels website. The Bansang Hospital Helping to fund the building of an operating theatre for the children’s and maternity ward at a hugely important hospital in The Gambia. Currently the medical needs of some 600,000 West Africans are met by just one operating theatre at the Bansang Hospital and our aim to raise sufficient funds to provide a second.
