Compassion at work in Uganda

We love sharing stories. Sometimes, the story we share is that of individual learner on one of our programmes. Sometimes its a client story, about how they tap into their organisation’s potential. This particular story is about a group of people bringing compassion far away from the familiar. This is a story of compassion at work in Uganda.

The past two weeks has seen Dove Nest’s own Peter Gregson as part of a team, bringing hope, relief, practical support, medicine and compassion to people in Uganda. The photo is taken at one of the clinic’s run by the volunteer group. Year after year, Peter travels with a mixed group volunteer medics and helpers. Every time he brings back stories of dignity, courage, and kindness from the people whole make the region their home.

So, if you don’t have much time for stories, then maybe read just one. This one.

Peter’s daily blog has, for the last two weeks, been insightful, funny, compassionate and moving.

I’m sure he’d love to hear from you and he can share more stories than we have space to write here.

To Peter and the team, well done and thank you.
