Aspects Personality Assessment

What it is:
Measures applied personality in a workplace setting. Drawing inspiration from the well-known ‘Big Five’ personality structure, Aspects breaks personality down into more detailed traits within seven sections:
• Conformity
• Leadership
• People Orientation
• Resilience
• Risk-Taking
• Social Acceptance
• Structure

When and Where to use it:
Suitable for both recruitment/selection and development purposes.
Designed to be particularly suitable for large scale testing.

Prospects 360

What it is:
A flexible 360 feedback tool to analyse an individual’s performance and behaviour, both a self-report, and from a range of nominated colleagues. The standard report asks questions on a range of management competencies, in five key areas (below) and can be adapted, with different areas added and removed as necessary:
• Commercial Awareness
• Communication
• Managing Information
• Managing People
• Personal Effectiveness

When and Where to use it:
The report is used as the basis for feedback to help individuals identify strengths and development needs, and can also be useful for benchmarking and demonstrating the individual’s progress.
Prospects helps identify new development needs individuals are unaware of, but which are visible to others; and under-utilised strengths which are perceived more by the peers and colleagues rather than the individual.

CreativityQ

What it is:
All people are creative, however not all creative people are alike. Differences in expressed creativity result from differences in individual style. CreativityQ draws inspiration from the Kirton Adaption-Innovation Inventory and is concerned with style of creativity, not level or ability. The term ‘creativity’ may be applied across the cycle of idea generation, application and evaluation.
An individual’s style may be described as more adaptive or more innovative, and CreativityQ measures four key dimensions that contribute to an individual’s creativity style, these are:
• Risk-taking
• Idea Generation
• Conscientiousness
• Drive for Change

When and Where to use it:
The tool provides individuals with a personal profile of their creative problem-solving style. This profile can be used as a discussion point to enhance personal self-awareness, improve understanding of others and facilitate team-working, and highlight individual-organisational culture fit.

Motivational Drivers

What it is:
This self-report questionnaire is based on the factors that motivate an individual in the work situation. The questions elicit information about what the respondent feels is important to them. The report is based on the following descriptors:
• Level of Activity
• Status
• Competitiveness
• Material Rewards
• Affiliation
• Autonomy
• Power
• Intrinsic Interest
• Locus of Control
• Involvement

A six point scale is deliberately chosen so that there is no middle point. The responses are compared to those given by a wider professional and managerial group to provide a rating of motivation in different factors compared to others.

When and Where to use it:
This individual report can help an individual to develop a level of understanding of which motivational factors drive them and to what level. It can be used in discussions to help them to consider and maximise opportunities, as well as improve performance and engagement in the workplace.
